Why you HAVE to dry brush

Dry brushing AKA the crack of body care. Addictive, beyond belief. You brush your teeth, brows, maybe sometimes your hair... I mean come on no one has time to brush their hair anymore. But you so have time to brush your whole body, trust me.

Currently Reading: March

So urm has this month even happened, how is it nearly the end of March?! I feel like my feet haven't quite touched the ground this month!! But I have had some time to get some reading in and I have been loving the books.



This month I have had  breakfast book and a bed time book. Yes, I know. But I am trying to get away from my phone as much as possible and replace it with a good book, so instead of tediously scrolling through twitter and seeing the same old tweets, yawn.

So with my breakfast I have been reading 14,000 things to be happy about, it is such a cheerful book. It puts everything in to perspective, how you can find so much happiness in such little things; like 'window shopping in fall' or 'tolerable temperatures' after flicking through you can't help but notice little things that make you happy and sets you up for a lovely day. Aw.

my 'night time' book is one I have had for a while but never fully indulge, like it's a bit brutal. It is called 'Skinny bitch' and I am currently on a 'shit i need to loose weight for summer' hype. This book says its tough love, but it scares the shit out of me, sometimes I close it for a breather. But is written in such a good way that you feel like one of your girlfriend is giving you some heavy advice. The advice is good! I don't listen to it all but most I do, if you want to learn about what is actually going in your gut and scare yourself silly this is the one for you. I also like books that promote eating to loose weight and stress not starving yourself. Perfect Combo.

SO they have been my go too books for this month but I have a stack currently on my bedside that is calling my name I have so many to get through!

An Ode to Avo

I honestly love t when vegetables become trendy, like how even? Who chooses avocado to have its fame?! I am glad it has however as it is currently my go to meal!! Avo is a good fat, yes a good FAT. Fat is good for you in small healthy doses and an Avo shows you how to do that. So I think you should know why it's encouraged (by me) to have avocado for every meal of the day.

The Gym = Happiness Maker

Never in my nineteen years of life did I think I would be writing this post. I mean it is a bit of a momentous event. I, Eleanor Fearnley, on the 13th of March declare that I love the gym. I mean not puppy love, it's not a phase. This has the promise to be a long term relationship thing. Phew.



So this year, has gone from bad to worse to amazing. I am currently in an amazing  head space and mind set it is lovely, which is down to an amazing support system and grabbing life by the balls and taking control myself, but that is for another post.  One of the things I grabbed was the gym, I was mainly forced by best friend AKA current fitness junkie and honestly can't thank her enough.


Raise your hand if you've ever been going through shit and you got this line 'ooo start running and get endorphins running through you', yep not what you want to hear.  Honestly I used to think this was a pile of rubbish and was very content with my Netflix binging till 2am. But boy o boy endorphins are real. Endorphins are affect receptors in the brain, often reducing the sensation of pain or stress. That's right reduce STRESS. By getting moving you are practically running away from feeling stressed, yep it's amazing. 

I think it is so important to love yourself, and sometimes you look in the mirror and are just a bit meh. I know the feeing, normally you think meh and do meh all. With the gym you think meh and do whatever you can, did the Victoria Secret Models get where they are by sitting on their bums. Nope they go up and moved there bodies until they were happy. It's so simple when you write it down, but is such a hard thing to get a hold of, and us lazy people are hard work. However body confidence is key to you feeling good, so even if it takes a little more moving and a little less chocolate now and then, you will see differences and feel amazing. 

Lastly it is a huge distraction from the world, a space you can go for an hour forget the world a little bit. Go with your friends and have a massive gossip. I go every day (try to) with my bestie and it means I get to spend time with her as well as get the best summer body. Win win. Also the eye candy at gyms isn't the worst I mean come on.

'Why The F Is It Still Not Summer' Lipstick

Lets get real, I feel one ray of sun on my skin and thats it, I need! I need it to be summer. I would like a tan and strawberries to be in season, is that too much to ask! I also just got the nicest pair of Forever 21 sunnies and would like to take them for a spin.

To try and get my summer fix, I have been trying to shed my winter makeup and get summer ready, like I've got to say I am getting super tired of berry and red lips. Sorry not sorry.


First things first, this lipbalm, ok! I have never been a big lipbalm girl, like I hate those tins where everyone one and there dog has stuck there finger in it, and the sticks just don't do anything for me, super useless. But I recently got sent this Bee Good in Vanilla and Honey*. Holy crap. Game changer... I have been going through this true at the speed of light, it is so thick but not sticky and it leaves your lips so soft and ready for lipstick. Nothing says it's not summer like chapped lips. Say goodbye to those and hello soft lips.



This my current, 'it's not summer but i'm going to make my lips pretend it is' I got the lipstick on a recent Mac trip, which is becoming more of a hunt for 'Velvet Teddy', still no. Damn you Kylie Jenner. I did my weekly search but came across this one 'Modesty' URM hello dream lipstick. The colour is so pretty, its like a pinky, nudey peach?! Thats a thing. I have a similar one in colour to this called 'Kinda Sexy' which is okay, but matte and so so drying! This is a creamsheen and slides on so well, it's staying power is brill! I mean what can go wrong. I comes up a bit darker in the photos than it is, it is a lovely colour and I will use it so much spring summer!

Let me know any summer lip shades I am missing out on and I will put them on my list!

Monthly Faves: February

February was a crazy month, it has some pretty huge changes, which have turned out to be for the best finally getting on my feet and feeling so happy and positive, cannot wait for for the rest of the year. So taking these photos I have realised that it was a gold/beige month for sure, loving this colour.

Catch Up through Insta

As I said in my last post, I have not been around the blogging world for a month or so so I thought I should fill you in on whats been going on! Via my favourite thing, Instagram. I have phases and in February my fave social media was 'gram, so I posted a lot. 



Traveling back from Uni for some TLC/ Got some beautiful tulips (my favourite) / New shoes which are making me mad that the weather isn't perking up/ I love this Anti-Val Sweater cosiest. 


Pink roses beat Red ones / Cute little reminder my Grandma made me / This was bought and conusmed in a matter of days hours / pancake that looks like a man with a moustache


Sunny driving is better / Afternoon tea including jam-spiration / my favourite part of Chinese new year / respect your selfie *peace hand emoji*

Positive Vibes Only

Happy first day of March. Pinch, punch and all that stuff! So you may or probably not noticed I've not blogged for the whole of February and honestly all together February 2015 kicked me to the curb. I mean honestly things went tits up and honestly didn't want all you lovely readers having to read some half arsed negative shit on my blog! This is a lovely place, I try! I might go into more what happened in blog posts to come.
